MFA Setup for Goodwill Accounts
Goodwill IT is requiring all accounts to have MFA (Multi-Factor Authentication) setup and will enforce it's use starting on November 8th. Any team members that have accounts without MFA setup by this date will not be able to login.
Team Members WITH Corporate Cell Phones
TMs with a corporate cell phone assigned must setup 2 methods of authentication.
- Use of the Authenticator App (which is pre-installed on your cell phone) is required
- We recommend setting up SMS as the second method (receiving a text message with a code), although can choose a different method. If you setup this method, we recommend using the phone number of your corporate issued cell phone.
Team Members WITHOUT a Corporate Cell Phone
TMs without a corporate cell phone can choose one method for authentication.
- Use of the Authenticator App requires you to download an app to your device
- Use of the SMS method (receiving a text message with a code) does not require installing an app
Team Members that are not able to use any of the methods available, please contact the IT Helpdesk at helpdesk@goodwill.ab.ca to discuss options.
Note: It is recommended you complete this setup at a computer and not solely on your phone.
